The transmitter operates on three long-lasting CR123a batteries and is connected to the probe through 50’ of direct burial wire, ensuring maximum coverage. The probe is cleverly buried parallel to the driveway, detecting vehicles passing within 10-12 feet, and the direct burial cable can be run to a nearby tree or post for added convenience. The transmitter box is weatherproof and meant for exterior locations, making it ideal for any property. The DCPT-4000 works with the DCR-4000 or RE-4k Plus receiver to bring you the ultimate peace of mind. And with its long-lasting battery and ability to operate in temperatures ranging from -30°F to 120°F, this driveway alarm sensor is built to last.
